Preparing your space

 

It is important that you, your guests and the party host have a sufficient amount of space to utilize throughout the planned event. Games, songs and simple activities may be completed in given space. This will ensure the host and guests all feel comfortable participating in the planned activities. The host may require a chair, electrical outlet, garbage disposal and running water. Pets and very young children should be away from the activities to avoid injury.Upon the performer’s arrival, we ask that an adult greet them at the door and to have additional adult and child guests clear the area for the performer to properly remove outer wear (winter coats, shoes, etc) and create a more magical entrance.

 

Etiquette

 

Our performers and party hosts always do a wonderful job of ensuring children stay on task as well as encouraging them to remain on their best behaviour. However, if a child becomes unruly to the point of distracting the others, is rude or violent towards the performer, party host or other guests, we ask that a parent remove the child from current activities until they are calm and ready to join the group happy and focused. We ask that anything that may cause distraction such as video games, loud toys, etc. be placed in another space until our performer has fully completed the performance. Pets can also prove to be a distraction. Occasionally, a child may not want to participate in an activity. Our performer will try to have the child participate, however it is helpful if the parent encourages the child’s participation as well. Parent interaction and general enthusiasm also play an immensely important role in ensuring your event is as enjoyable as possible. Upon arrival, the adult guests should greet the performer by their character(s) and invite them into the event. Please do not hesitate to communicate with the performer during the event.Please also keep in mind that Enchanted is a “mobile” service, and although we take great care into scheduling events, occasionally unfavourable traffic, weather conditions and other such issues may cause a slight delay in your event. If this does occur, the performer on route to your event will notify you at once. Your patience for such an occurrence is much appreciated. Cast members will require a parking space, in driveway or very close to main entrance.

 

Reservation Policy

 

Reservations may be made Monday-Friday from 10:00am-4:00pm. We recommend at least 2-4 weeks advance notice for birthday parties and small events and 1-3 months (depending on season) for large parties and corporate events. Last minute appointments are sometimes available. Please provide the necessary information required to fully book an event. Our services are in high demand and are often booked weeks in advance. Please allow for flexibility in your request.

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Please give at least 48 hours notice if you and your guests cannot make the appointment. Once your appointment date has been reserved for your event/spa party, we will be unable to issue a refund for any individual guest cancellations or no-shows, if required notice is not given. We appreciate your understanding that we have made your event/party our priority to specifically reserve the requested cast member/character.

 

Disclaimer

 

In the event of bad weather/illness/events beyond our control, we reserve the right to reschedule the event/party. In rare and extreme circumstances, when the cast member/character cannot for some reason get to your event/party, you would receive a complimentary event/party of the amount paid along with a full refund. However, we pride ourselves on superior customer service and work hard to ensure each event runs smoothly.

 

Gratuities

 

Most clients do choose to “tip” the performer 10%-15%. However, gratuities are not expected and always very much appreciated. This is normally completed at the end of their performance in cash form. When time for the cash interaction, please be discreet as possible. This should be done privately before or after the event and away from guests under the age of 13 years.

 

Payment

 

Soon after your confirmation is sent, you will receive an invoice. If you have not received it by the following day, please contact us by phone or e-mail. This invoice can be paid one of three ways:

 

Online with PayPal or a credit card. Follow the link in the body of the e-mail to view the invoice. On the left side bar, under “Invoice Options”, click “Pay Invoice”. Click “Pay Now with PayPal”. If you have a PayPal account, log in. If you do not have a PayPal account and would like to proceed with a credit card payment, click “Don’t Have a PayPal Account?” to log in as a guest. Fill out the required information.

 

Email Money Transfer. As every financial institute is different, these steps will vary. Log in to your online banking. Locate “Send E-Mail Money Transfer”. It is usually located under “Transfers” or “Payments”. The transfer should be sent to officialprincesses@gmail.com. The security question should be “My Invoice Number” and the answer should be your invoice number (Ex: 5261).

 

Mail a Cheque. While the above are the ideal methods of payment, if you would prefer not to pay online we will also accept a cheque sent through the mail. The cheque must arrive and be cleared by the due date on the invoice. Ensuring the cheque arrives 5 business days prior to the due date allows ample time for it to be deposited and cleared. Payment must be made by 6:00pm on the due date indicated on the invoice. Failure to make a payment by the required date, will result in a cancellation of your event. A receipt will be sent via e-mail to confirm that payment has been received.
